超常能力“個性”を持つ人間が当たり前の世界。
憧れのNo.1ヒーロー・オールマイトと出会った“無個性”の少年・緑谷出久、通称「デク」は、その内に秘めるヒーローの資質を見出され、オールマイトから“個性”ワン・フォー・オールを受け継いだ。デクはヒーロー輩出の名門・雄英高校に入学し、“個性”で社会や人々を救ける“ヒーロー”になることを目指し、ヒーロー科1年A組のクラスメイトたちと共に成長していく。
　デクたちの雄英2年目の春。エンデヴァーらヒーロー側と、死柄木弔率いる敵＜ヴィラン＞の巨大勢力・超常解放戦線のまさに“全面戦争”と言える戦いが幕を開ける。強化手術により恐るべき力を得た死柄木に対し、デクは“個性”ワン・フォー・オールで立ち向かう。死闘の結果、デクと死柄木、ヒーローと敵＜ヴィラン＞双方が大きなダメージを受け、死柄木の撤退により全面戦争は一旦の終結を見る。しかし、人々が受けた甚大な被害と、「自分はエンデヴァーの息子である」という荼毘＝轟燈矢の告白により、ヒーローへの信頼は揺らぎ、さらにオール・フォー・ワンの手引きで多くの敵＜ヴィラン＞が脱獄したことで社会は荒廃していく。そんな中、ワン・フォー・オール継承者としての使命感と、周囲の人間を危険に晒したくないという思いから、デクはひとり雄英を出ていく。クラスメイトたちに置き手紙を残して…。
　デクの、たったひとりの戦いが始まる―！

In a world where possessing superpowers known as Quirks is the norm, Izuku Midoriya, who goes by Deku, is Quirkless. One day, however, he meets his idol and No. 1 hero All Might, who recognizes Deku’s innate potential as a hero and transfers his Quirk, One for All, to Deku.
Enrolling at the prestigious U.A. High School, Deku strives to become a hero who can save society and people with his Quirk as he grows alongside his Class 1-A classmates.
In the spring of Deku and his friends’ second year at U.A., an all-out war unfolds between the Heroes including Endeavor, and the Villains of the Paranormal Liberation Front led by Tomura Shigaraki. Using his Quirk, One for All, Deku confronts Shigaraki, who has gained formidable power after having undergone body modification surgery. The deadly struggle resulted in serious damage incurred by both the Heroes and the Villains, and the all-out war comes to a temporary halt when Shigaraki retreats. However, due to immense casualties incurred by the people, as well as the Dabi’s revelation that he is actually Toya Todoroki, the son of Endeavor, trust in the Heroes falters. Moreover, with the help of All for One, multiple Villains break out from prison, and society falls into chaos. In the midst of this, Deku is driven by a sense of duty as the successor of OFA, and not wanting to endanger those around him, he leaves U.A. alone. He leaves a letter addressed to his classmates.
Thus begins Deku’s lone battle!
